My primary field of photography is nature photography. My work emphasis is on wildlife, and they landscapes inhabit. My focus is more on the wild side of things than typical vacation spots.
As a photographer I consider myself a hunter; I’m in pursuit to capture the wonders of nature. Perhaps this is a byproduct of my former career in the military. I’m looking for candid moments of joy in life. I want you to see extraordinary in the mundane. Most of my youth was spent abroad on the military operations, this took me from my son and I missed seeing him grow up. Now when I’m out shooting wildlife, I’m often drawn to juvenile animals and how they interact with their surroundings, or how the adults watches over their offspring.  I often wonder, if this is because I of the time I missed with my own son?
Through my photography I will bring this natural wildness to your screen, bookshelf, and walls before it’s overtaken by expanding societies. I travel to exotic locations often diving deeper into nature to capture a wilderness unseen by many travelers. I want viewers to feel like they are right there in these wild environments sitting beside me when they experience my imagery. In my series work I tell stories of how an adventure or experience unfolds in the wild. Capturing that moment in time of something rare, beautiful, evoking, or inspiring to share with you is my ultimate goal. I want to share a genuinely wild viewing experience with you.
